Using special high-end conductive carbon black, processed through twin-screw multi-stage shearing and coating, the carbon black is free of hard agglomerates, extrusion does not clog filters, sheets are free of crystals, and the resistivity dispersion of the entire roll of sheet is extremely low.

 

  • Pain Point 2: Failing to meet IEC61340 electronic packaging standards

During vacuum deep stretching and thermoforming of PS sheets, the conductive pathways formed by overlapping carbon black are stretched and broken, causing a surge in resistance on the tray sidewalls and thin-walled areas, failing to meet IEC61340 electronic packaging standards. Shallow cavities pass, while deep cavities are scrapped, resulting in a yield rate consistently below 85%.

Utilizing a PS carrier + compatible toughening composite system, carbon black forms a three-dimensional interwoven conductive framework. The conductive pathways will not break even with a vacuum forming stretch ratio within 1:3. The resistance of the trays in both deep and shallow cavities remains stable at 10⁴~10⁸ Ω/sq, providing permanent conductivity without blooming and unaffected by temperature and humidity.

This RoHS & REACH compliant conductive PS masterbatch is designed specially for ESD thermoforming PS sheets or rolls, the final product after vaccumed formed is IC tray for semi-conductors and sensitive parts of auto-mobiles.
